She was hit crossing Dedeaux Road and 6:19 A.M.  Authorities have not released her name and the parents will not allow media to know either.

On Monday January 30, 2012 a tragic death of LeeBoy Thibodeaux in Pascagoula shipyard was reported to friends, family, and co-workers.

A tragic death of LeeBoy Thibodeaux in Pascagoula shipyard who was working in a sandblasting area in the yard when he died from blunt-force injuries about 10:30 a.m. Monday.

Friends and family say he was a GREAT friend and family member to all.

He was also a big football and New Orleans Saints fan!

This is a terrible accident, and I send condolences to the  family and friends dealing with their loss involved with the tragic death of LeeBoy Thibodeaux in Pascagoula shipyard.

As a fellow Saints fanatic, I feel a kinship with you as both you and I lived through some horrible football seasons with the Saints.

A Gulfport Teen Killed in a hit and run accident was named Elisha Skinner.

She was just 15 years old.

According to authorities, she was walking from one relative’s house to another relative’s house when the accident happened.

This wreck happened in the 1500 block of 34th Street.

Chasity Griffin Killed In Wreck

Chasity Griffin was killed in a D’Iberville, Mississippi car wreck.

She was only 17 years old.

Chasity Griffin attended Vancleave High School.

She and her boyfriend friend were crossing Highway 67 when they were hit in the side.

Chasity was ejected because she was not wearing her seat belt.

Which one will save lives better?

A stop light or a seat belt?

The answer is a seat belt.

If Chasity was wearing her seat belt, she’d probably be alive.

As to stop lights, I’ve actually dealt with MDOT on this issue many times.

The studies actually show that a stop light will not save lives.

The wreck is either going to happen at another intersection or the wreck will happen right at the same intersection where someone rear-ends you.

I know stop lights make you feel good but they simply are not the answer.

Hattiesburg DUI Wreck

A Hattiesburg DUI Wreck was caused by a woman named Judy Haynes.  According to authorities, Haynes ran over a man who was laying in the street.

Now, in this situation, I’m not sure if Haynes should be charged with what criminal lawyers call a DUI Causing Death.

The reason is because I can’t tell exactly what happened.

This Hattiesburg DUI Wreck was sometime between 9:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.

If it was a night and Hayes was laying down in the street, I just don’t see how Haynes could be at fault.

On the other hand, if there was adequate lighting and the fact that Haynes was drunk caused her to be unable to stop, then maybe she has criminal liability.

Certainly, under almost any scenario, Hayes has what I call “civil liability.”  The proof is much less in a personal injury case than in a criminal case so there Hayes (or her insurance company) may have to pay for causing the death.

BUT, please understand that I’m not a criminal lawyer so I don’t know.

I’m smart enough to know what I don’t know and criminal law is not my area of expertise.

But, I’ve had to hire a lawyer before and it was what I call a LAWYER NIGHTMARE!!

You know what I’m talking about.

The lawyer forgot about my case.

The lawyer forgot about me.

And nothing got done.

That’s why I’m on a MISSION!
