Pass Christian Woman Dies In Car Wreck

Pass Christian Woman Dies In Car Wreck

A Pass Christian woman and her grandson died in a car wreck.  According to authorities, the car wreck happened on Bells Ferry Road.  Ellender Clark was 61 years old at the time of the accident.  Her grandson, Alijah Osborne, was just 10 years old.

Ms. Clark was wearing a seat belt but this was a head-on accident and despite her precaution, she still unfortunately died.  Her grandson was not wearing a seat belt and was in the rear of her vehicle.

According to authorities Gilbert Estay lost control and crossed the center line.

The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department indicated that speed may be a cause of the car wreck.

I don’t know if a seat belt would have saved Alijah Osborne’s life.  But, it might have.

And in most accidents, it WILL save your life.
