Q: If I am in a car accident or wreck in Mississippi, is the insurance company required to pay for the property damage to my car?

A: Yes.  At our offices, we get this question a lot.  Naturally, if you were not at fault for the car accident in Mississippi, you are not required to pay for your property damage.  In other words, there is no reason for a Mississippi driver to pay for their own property damage if they were not at fault for the wreck.
