Mississippi Attorney Jay Foster's Community Involvement

Jay Foster believes strongly in supporting the local community. In this regard, he has served as Past President of the Coast Business Leaders Association, Past Vice-President of the Coast Business Leaders Association, and Past Secretary of the Coast Business Leaders Association. This organization is composed of professionals in a variety of fields from doctors to real estate agents.

The group's motto is "Preserving the Past. . .Ensuring the Future." The Association has raised money for the Boys and Girls Club, Jackson County Youth Shelter, Harrison County Youth Shelter, Biloxi Lighthouse Restoration Project, Boy Scouts of America, and other historical and charitable organizations.

He is also a devoted New Orleans Saints fan and a member of the New Orleans Saints Fan Advisory Board which is a liason group for the New Orleans Saints.

Jay is also a lifetime member of the United States Judo Association.

He also has devoted himself to providing free legal work to people who cannot afford an attorney.  As a result, he has represented, for free, numerous battered women who are unable to afford legal represensation.  Currently, Jay Foster represents women from the Jackson County Battered Women's Shelter who cannot afford an attorney.  This has provided great satisfaction in getting the abused woman away from the abuser.  In addition, since Hurricane Katrina, he has helped dozens of people for free in assisting them with SBA loans, mortgage questions, insurance questions, and landlord-tenant issues.
