All she was doing is walking alongside the road.

According to authorities, Daniel Snyder, ran her over and killed her.

Kaytlynn Brann was just a few days shy of her sixteenth birthday when Daniel Snyder hit her with his truck.

The police indicated that Snyder first left the scene.

According to the district attorney, Snyder left because he had been drinking alcohol.

While he was not on duty when he hit Kaytlynn Brann, Snyder was a Pascagoula Police Officer.

I don’t even know what to say.

The poor parents of this girl must be devastated.

This could have happened to any of us.

And it is what I see a lot.

People violating the safety rules and it results in this preventable death.
